Health and good Food...they are so intertwined that you really cant have just one of them :) My parents were well inclined to Ayurveda and a more common form of it called home remedies... They banked on what their parents had told them... We never stocked up paracetamol or Tylenol.. instead it was all about mixing up the right spices for a steam or a coffee...
We were educated on the need of knowing 'your' body... yes the focus is on your body... It may fit into those multiple prototypes of different medical disciplines... but no one can expect to know your body as well as you do... As a kid, i used to get rashes all over my body every time i ate beef... No doctor could find out why... But now, luckily i got over it...
There are so many little things that made big difference to the body... Those cumin seeds, Tulsi leaves, shallots, carrot juice, ginger, guava leaves were so effective and never gave me any side effect.... Trying to capture them here and trying to keep it as easy to find as possible... :)
